Privacy notice

What we collect, and what we don't.

Last updated 12 October 2026. This notice covers the Voxlibre website, the reporting and follow-up pages, and the handler application.

If you are reporting something

You can use the reporting page without telling us who you are. We don't store your IP address, your browser's user agent or any device identifier. The reporting and follow-up pages set no cookies and load nothing from third parties.

What we store: the category you chose, your written report, your disguised voice recording if you made one (unless you chose transcript-only, in which case it is deleted once transcribed), the transcript and its English translation, any name or contact details you chose to give, and the messages you exchange with the organisation afterwards. All of it is encrypted at rest with a key specific to the organisation you reported to.

Voice recordings: your recording is disguised on your device before it's uploaded. The original is never sent. The disguised recording is sent to a transcription model through OpenRouter with the provider's data-collection setting set to deny, so it isn't used for training.

Who sees it: the handler or handlers at the organisation you reported to, after they sign in. Voxlibre staff don't read reports. The organisation decides how long to keep a case; it can delete it permanently at any time.

Who is the controller: the organisation you are reporting to is the controller of your report under data-protection law. Voxlibre processes it on their behalf. Rights requests about a report go to that organisation; the Directive's confidentiality rules apply to how they handle them.

If you run an organisation on Voxlibre

We store your organisation's name, your name, your work email, a hash of your password, your settings, and an audit log of actions taken in your account. We use your email to send you sign-in and case-attention notifications, which never contain report content. We don't sell or share this data.

When you pay, payment details are handled by a payment provider and are not stored by us.

This website

The marketing pages you are reading set no cookies and load nothing from third parties. We don't currently run analytics on them. If that changes, this notice will say so first.

Where data is stored

Voxlibre runs on Cloudflare. Its database and file storage are in Western Europe.
